So, you might not know this, but we have another sibling. We have an older brother who is more grown-up than we are at the moment, which makes sense because he’s a lot older, but he’s also doing lots of things like getting a big-time, successful job and having kids. Isn’t that so weird to think about? I mean, I think that I am going to have kids, I really want to someday, but it feels like that day is like so far away. I just don’t see it happening anytime super soon, but I guess these things sort of creep up on you and life hits you in a way that you wouldn’t expect. I suppose I can meet the father of my child tomorrow, and we could begin a family within a few years. Or, it’s possible I’ve already met the father of my child old.
Isn’t that a crazy thing to think about? Life is so beautiful and amazing and confusing and crazy and fun and sad and unexpected and disappointing and ultimately wonderful. Anyway, speaking of all of that, our older brother recently had a baby. We went over to visit, and we noticed that their baby monitor was not good at all. It had been handed down to them by a friend, but the technology was super updated. I’ve had some extra money Lately, from working more hours at my job, and I thought I could really help out my brother and his wife by buying them a much better baby monitor, which would totally help them out and make the process of Parenthood just ever so slightly easier.
So I bought them a Comfort Cam, which a lot of my friends have used in the past, and is manages to come highly recommended. Basically it’s a WiFi baby monitor, and you can check in on the feed, which is pretty high quality video actually come by downloading an app on your smartphone or tablet. It’s just that easy. Seriously, I didn’t know that technology would come so far, but it seems like a lot of great technology is going into baby devices because that’s not a market that’s going away anytime soon. Makes sense. Anyway, I can’t wait to give it to my brother, I think that they are going to be super happy with this gift.
